DR Simon Horne
Simon is interested in all areas of general practice including palliative medicine. Simon enjoys teaching, supervising and mentoring doctors training in General Practice.

DR Geoff Allen
Geoff has practiced as a GP in Point Lonsdale since 1990. He has a keen interest in sports medicine and previously has worked as an AFL doctor for the Geelong Football Club. He also specialises in minor surgical procedures and worked with Dr Peter Callan, a plastic surgeon in Geelong, in skin cancer surgery for 4 years.
DR Janet Reid
Janet has worked with PLMG since 2004 which has led her to develop an interest in caring for, and treating the elderly. She has a diploma in paediatrics and a keen interest in women’s health. Janet has a certificate in family planning and is qualified for shared care in obstetrics and is also an examiner for both Deakin University and the RACGP.
DR Daniel McCurdy
Daniel has been working in rural General Practice, aged care and inpatient hospital care since 2000. His professional areas of interest include emergency medicine, performing minor procedures, coordinating chronic disease management and family medicine. When he’s not working, you’ll find Daniel taking his wife and three daughters out for coffee and adventure or in the shed woodworking.
DR Annie Mason
Annie has worked at Point Lonsdale Medical Group since 2006 and enjoys the broad variety of patients that comes with General Practice. She has an interest in skin lesions, minor surgical procedures and skin cancer removals.
DR Jacquie Johnston
Jacquie studied at Monash University. After several years of undertaking surgical training, she moved to Point Lonsdale and began her General Practice training. She has been able to combine her love of sports and musculoskeletal conditions, as well as minor surgical procedures. Jacquie worked for several years at the Geelong Football Club as a VFL doctor and also provides medical services at the Queenscliffe Football Club.
DR Joe Spencer
Joe enjoys the broad nature of General Practice and treating the whole family through their various stages of life. Coming from a background in Paramedics Joe greatly appreciates the value of preventative medicine and the important role of Community and local based care.
DR Talia Follet
Talia trained at Melbourne University and has a special interest in all aspects of women's health. Talia is a medical educator with RACGP for GP Registrar training. In 2024 Talia is focusing on her role with RACGP and is currently only seeing patients at nursing homes.
DR Ineke Woodhill
Ineke Woodhill chose to specialise in general practice because she wanted to work in the community and get to know her patients. She also loves all aspects of medicine, from working with children to the elderly and everyone in between. Ineke was part of the first graduating class of medicine at Deakin University, where she now teaches clinical skills. She completed her residency years at Geelong Hospital and was a paediatric speech pathologist before studying medicine.
DR Josh Beckwith
Josh trained at Adelaide at Flinders University before moving back to work at the Geelong University Hospital where he was exposed to a broad variety of medicine. He began his General Practice career in Geelong before joining the team at Point Lonsdale Medical Group. He enjoys all areas of general practice but has a special interest in women's health and paediatrics. DR Kazunori Nakajima
Dr Kazunori (Kaz) Nakajima was born in Japan and moved to Brisbane at the age of four. He attended the University of Melbourne and graduating in 2006. Kaz has a young family, but in his limited spare time he likes to cook, play soccer, travel and watch his beloved Brisbane Broncos. Kaz worked as a GP in Melbourne for 10 years before moving down to the Bellarine Peninsula. He enjoys all aspects of general practice and the variety that it offers
DR Holly Lakey
Holly trained at The University of Melbourne, graduating in 2004. She has a young family and has a particular interest in women’s and children’s health.
Dr Frankie Ode-Berryman
Frankie grew up in France and moved to Australia in 1998. She studied at the University of Western Australia. She worked in rural North-East Victoira for a year prior to joining the Geelong University Hospital where she improved her medical skills and knowledge particularly in Pediatrics. She enjoys all aspects of General Practice, she is particularly interested in children and adolescents health, nutrition, preventative medicine, skin problems and women's health.
Dr Romarna Dichiera
Romarna graduated from The University of Western Australia in 2012 and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in February 2017.
Romarna is trained in all aspects of General Practice and has special interests in sexual health, women’s health and paediatrics. She has completed a Diploma in Child Health at The University of Sydney and The Sydney Children’s Hospital Network and undertook a year of training at The Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne.
When not consulting, Romarna works in Medical Education training other General Practitioners.
DR Yuan-Hsun Chang
Hsun (Pronounced Shin) attained his medical degree at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2016, where he completed his internship the following year. After returning to Australia Hsun worked in various tertiary and regional hospitals as a resident then a registrar in acute care, medicine and surgery. His passion in various scopes of general practice, particularly in musculoskeletal/sports medicine and has formal physiotherapist training at the University of Queensland.
Dr Carina Pytellek
Carina graduated from Deakin University, achieving a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2013, after completing a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at The University of Melbourne in 2009. She undertook her medical internship and subsequent Hospital residency years at Barwon Health, completing a Diploma in Child Health and later a Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynaecology with RANZCOG. Carina obtained fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2021. Carina has a special interest in women's health, discussing contraception needs, Intrauterine device insertions, early pregnancy care and providing choices in early pregnancy.
DR Emma Hoffmann
Emma has a passion for rural costal communities and providing health care for her community at all stages of life. She has a particular interest in emergency medicine, obstetrics/ gynaecology and rural health. Emma has lived in many regional Victorian communities during her training at Monash and Melbourne University obtaining her bachelor of biomedical science and Doctor of Medicine.
DR Rhys Kelly
Rhys is a current GP registrar who graduated from Deakin University in 2019. He previously worked at University Hospital Geelong in varying areas such as Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Plastics and Reconstructive surgery, Jigsaw Youth and adolescent psychiatry and various emergency department and urgent care roles. Rhys enjoys all areas of General practice but particularly enjoys sports and exercise medicine and preventative health. Outside of General practice, Rhys works at the Geelong Football Club as an AFLW/VFLW doctor and enjoys spending time outdoors.
DR Davy Wong
Davy is a GP registrar with rural experience on the Great Ocean Road and Ballarat. He has keen interests in skin procedures and preventative health. In his spare time he enjoys playing tennis and cooking
Andrew Wilkinson
Andrew trained in orthopaedic surgery internationally in Northern Ireland and Scotland, he completed three years of fellowship training based across the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne and the University Hospital in Geelong. Andrew regularly performs operations for patients in Geelong, the Surf Coast and Western Victoria.
