Point Lonsdale Medical Group
Vision and Values Statement
We are proactive in promoting and achieving high quality comprehensive medical
care that is patient centred, accessible, timely and responsive to community needs.
We believe in treating all patients with respect in an efficient, friendly and courteous
manner. We do not discriminate in the provision of excellent care.
We are committed to continuous quality improvement in the service we provide, and
also in the training of the next generation of doctors.
We value each other’s ideas and skills which drive our practices collaborative culture.
Point Lonsdale Medical Group first opened its doors in 1972 and we have always prided ourselves on providing quality care in a respectful and friendly environment. Over the years we have developed a close association with the Bellarine Community Health Centre and our practice has expanded to 14 doctors, 6 nurses and a large group of reception staff.
We have also formed alliances with Allied Health professionals, ensuring continuous and lasting support with a holistic approach. Point Lonsdale Medical Group is all about meeting the needs of our local community and welcoming new patients to the Medical Practice.
This practice is an accredited teaching practice for the postgraduate training of General Practitioners. They are fully graduated doctors who are training to become General Practitioners and generally have positions working at the practice from 6 months to 1 year in duration.
