Point Lonsdale Medical Group first opened its doors in 1972 and we have always prided ourselves on providing quality care in a respectful and friendly environment. Over the years we have developed a close association with the Bellarine Community Health Centre and our practice has expanded to 14 doctors, 6 nurses and a large group of reception staff. 

We have also formed alliances with Allied Health professionals, ensuring continuous and lasting support with a holistic approach. Point Lonsdale Medical Group is all about meeting the needs of our local community and welcoming new patients to the Medical Practice. 

Our Team 


Dr. Geoff Allen


Geoff has practiced as a GP in Point Lonsdale since 1990. He has a keen interest in sports medicine and is an AFL doctor for the Geelong Football Club. He also specialises in minor surgical procedures and worked with Dr Peter Callan, a plastic surgeon in Geelong, in skin cancer surgery for 4 years. 

Dr. Catherine Condon


Cath has been practicing as a part time GP at Point Lonsdale Medical Group for 20 Years. She is interested in all areas of General Practice and is qualified for shared care with our obstetric patients

Dr.Talia Follett


Talia trained at Melbourne University and has worked with Point Lonsdale Medical Group since 2006. She is interested in all aspects of General Practice and runs the monthly Saturday Women's Health Clinics. Talia regularly lectures and examines at Deakin University and is a medical educator with MCCC  for GP Registrar training. She is also keenly involved in the Docs and Teens program run through Geelong High Schools.

Dr. Simon Horne

(MBBS FRACGP Grad Dip Palliative Medicine)

Simon is interested in all areas of general practice including palliative medicine. Simon enjoys teaching, supervising and mentoring doctors training in General Practice. 
Simon is a one eyed North Melbourne supporter.

Dr. Jacquie Johnston

(MBBS FRACGP Grad Dip Sports Med)

Jacquie studied at Monash University. After several years of undertaking surgical training, she moved to Point Lonsdale and began her General Practice training. Here, she has been able to combine her love of sports and musculoskeletal conditions, as well as minor surgical procedures. Jacquie worked for several years at the Geelong Football Club as a VFL doctor and also provides medical services at the Queenscliffe Football Club. When not a work, she can be found out on her bike, on the cricket fields for Queenscliffe or umpiring local football.

Dr. Holly Lakey


Holly trained at The University of Melbourne, graduating in 2004. She has a young family and has a particular interest in women’s and children’s health.

Dr. Sarah Mansfield


Sarah studied medicine at Melbourne University and has also completed a Diploma in Child Health. She has completed 2 years of Emergency Medicine training and is interested in all aspects of General Practice, in particular Public Health.

Dr. Annie Mason

(MBBS(Hons) FRACGP Dip Obs)

Annie has worked at Point Lonsdale Medical Group since 2006 and enjoys the broad variety of patients that comes with General Practice. Annie has a young family and has developed a strong interest in caring for children and shared care with the expectant mothers. She is also interested in minor surgical procedures and skin cancer removals.

Dr. Daniel McCurdy


Daniel has been working in rural General Practice, aged care and inpatient hospital care since 2000.  His professional areas of interest include emergency medicine, performing minor procedures, coordinating chronic disease management and family medicine.  When he’s not working, you’ll find Daniel taking his wife and three daughters out for coffee and adventure or in the shed woodworking.

Dr.Janet Reid


Janet has worked with PLMG since 2004 which has led her to develop an interest in caring for, and treating the elderly. She has a diploma in paediatrics and a keen interest in women’s health. Janet has a certificate in family planning and is qualified for shared care in obstetrics and is also an examiner for both Deakin University and the RACGP.

Dr. Joe Spencer

(MBBS, BEH Paramedics (Dux), FRACGP)

Joe enjoys the broad nature of General Practice and treating the whole family through their various stages of life.  Coming from a background in Paramedics Joe greatly appreciates the value of preventative medicine and the important role of Community and local based care.

This practice is an accredited teaching practice for the postgraduate training of General Practitioners. They are fully graduated doctors who are training to become General Practitioners and generally have positions working at the practice from 6 months to 1 year in duration.

Dr. Helen Dyett

(BSci MBBS Dip Paeds Grad Dip Palliative Care)

Helen has completed a Bachelor of Science at The University of Melbourne before completing her Bachelor of Surgery/Bachelor of Medicine at Deakin University.  Since graduation, Helen has spent 2 years in Emergency training prior to also completing a Diploma of Paediatrics and a Diploma of Palliative Care.  She has a particular interest in paediatrics, women's health, dermatology and palliative care but is keen on all areas of medicine.

Dr. Reshma Mohammed



Reshma is our current GP registrar, working towards her Fellowship (FRACGP). She grew up in South-East Melbourne and has worked at several rural / metropolitan hospitals across Australia, including Gold Coast University Hospital, Queensland and Frankston Hospital.


Her special interests include Women’s health, providing shared Obstetric care with completion of Dip RANZCOG, as well as paediatrics – Dip child health.  Reshma’s most recent role was an extended skills position working with patients with developmental disability and assisting them through the NDIS process.

Dr. Joshua Beckwith

(B.ClinSci, M.D and DRANZCOG) 

Josh grew up on the Mornington Peninsula before moving to Adelaide for medical training at Flinders University. He then moved back to work at the Geelong University Hospital where he was exposed to a broad variety of medicine. Josh then began his General Practice career in Geelong before joining the team at Point Lonsdale Medical Group. 

He enjoys all areas of general practice but has a special interest in women's health and paediatrics. 

Josh lives locally and really enjoys the lifestyle here on the Bellarine.

Prof. David Darby


Following his graduation from Medicine at the University of Melbourne in 1981, Professor Darby has completed a PhD in neurology and neuropsychology (1990), and neurology training (1991) at Austin Hospital. To date, he has published over 95 peer-reviewed journal articles and his current research interests include wide-scale community screening for prodromal dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, fronto-temporal dementia and multiple sclerosis. Prof Darby is also able to offer clinical expertise on young onset and atypical dementia, Alzheimer’s disease and consults at the Point Lonsdale medical Group twice a month (on Saturdays).

Peter Angelucci

Peter Angelucci

Peter Angelucci is the managing director and principal podiatrist at Precise Podiatry -Point Lonsdale. After studying nursing at Deakin University, he attended Charles Stuart University where he completed his Bachelor Degree in Podiatry. 
Upon graduation, he established many rural and remote Podiatry clinics, working alongside Diabetes Australia to initiate Indigenous diabetes screening programs, but also designed learning modules for rural doctors on lower limb assessments e.g. diabetic foot, and the management of Charcot neuroarthropathy. 
Peter has chosen professional colleagues at Precise Podiatry based on their clinical experience having all worked across the public and private sectors, which has allowed for a consolidated approach to client care. 
Peter has a strong interest in diabetic foot management and education, and he is able to do all patient assessments, including performing a comprehensive blood flow analysis of the lower limb at Point Lonsdale Medical Group clinic. 
Point Lonsdale/ Precise Podiatry clinic is open on Fridays.

Diabetic Educator

Rinsky Webb

Rinsky is a credentialed diabetes educator (CDE) with the Australian Diabetes Educator Association working in Diabetes self-management education for 8 years.  She is available to assist with medical and behavioural management of type 1, type 2 and gestational diabetes. As well as providing education during initiation of Injectable therapy and understanding dose adjustment, if either using multiple daily injections or insulin pump therapy. She also has specialist knowledge Continuous Glucose monitoring in diabetes care.
Rinsky's nursing background lies in Cardio-thoracic surgical nursing, renal/medical nursing and also works at Bellarine Community Health as a CDE.

Nurse Manager - Jane Day

Michele, Jane, Inga, Els, Elise, Kate, Tiffany, Donna & El

All our nurses are trained and experienced in emergency care, immunisations, wound management, spirometry, ECG’s, plastering and assisting with minor surgeries. They also play an active role in chronic disease prevention and management through Health Clinics for patients with diabetes, COPD and on Warfarin as well as co-ordinated veterans' care.
